We were super inspired this year to set goals, get things done, make things happen, “Whatever It Takes!” As a lot of you may know, that is a key motto for us here at Linen Hero.
Our January Michigan showroom table took some inspiration from getting things done, with a bit of coffee, of course! We wanted to set the tone for a fresh and new 2016, with the mindset of planning and focusing in on the year to come with our Mint Calendar January tablescape!
This table design is all about being better, planning, and having some festive new year organizational fun, too. In our wedding & event industry, we are surrounded by bloggers, coordinators, photographers, and abundant creatives who make things happen! We wanted to create a light and bright table that could bring refreshed inspiration to a January Goal-Planning luncheon meeting for all of those business owners who are constantly growing their brands.
So, in this scheme, here are some things that are inspiring us in the new year: White fabrics with feminine touches like lace, textured florals, and hits of metallics. Gold as the constant accent- we love how it looks on our table with mint and hues of green. Pops of graphic elements like two tone stripes, and chalkboard accents. Finally.. luxe fabrics that are soft to the touch, and the eye, like our Galaxy Champagne fabric that we used as a table runner and chair sash.
What a fun project. First we started with Jen’s choice of table linen, our new French Lace in Ivory and decided to go with a Duchess satin in Cashmere underneath the overlay. Then we chose Duchess Satin in Mint for the cocktail table and napkins a soft accent color.
Then we created a centerpiece tiled with beautiful To-Do paperie, Planners in kraft brown tones accented in mint, striped binders, and our favorite delicate florals. Gold votives layered our look with calligraphy popping in black and white.
Journals in turquoise, with delicate accents like geometric placeholders coordinate with our cute paper sipping straws.
The glasses are layered with gold bubbles ready for some sparkling water or perhaps even a Mimosa! Our favorite elements are the custom coffee cups, which suggest “Let me be your Linen Hero!” alongside our paper cups donning the gold logo.
We finished off this look with Ruched Spandex Chair Covers in Ivory, and Frosted Glass Charger Plates to let our lace take center stage. We love this table, and the beauty it inspires us to create this wedding season!
