Hero Alert! Julie Gambrell steps up as Denver Territory Manager

From serving as a special correspondent for the Royal Wedding to being featured in all the major wedding industry publications, Julie Gambrell has had a star-studded career.

We couldn’t be more pleased to have someone of her caliber as our new Denver Territory Manager.

After more than two decades as one of Colorado’s premier wedding planners, Julie was invited by long-time territory manager Tamara Wilkinson to join Chair Covers and Linens as our showroom manager.

When Tamara accepted a role managing the newly opened Lake House at Cherry Creek, we knew that Julie – a highly regarded industry professional with multiple ICON awards to her name – was the natural choice to fill our role.

“I was leaving to go on vacation to Mexico when I found out – it definitely made my holiday even more memorable!” says Julie.

In her new role, Julie will be tasked with overseeing and developing client relationships, maintaining an active NACE and ISES presence, and taking the CCL name even further in the region.

“My background as a wedding planner has definitely helped in terms of the relationships I can bring to the table,” she says.

“I came to the company with great relationships already – and Tamara and I worked together to develop those. We took a team approach to everything we did, so the transition will be a seamless one for our clients.”

Seamless, and exciting. Julie is highly regarded not just throughout Colorado – where she’s been voted the top wedding planner – but across the US.

You might have seen her on 9 News and GMA reporting on the Royal Wedding from the steps of Buckingham Palace. Or in magazines such as Inside Weddings, Destination I Do and Grace Ormonde – just to name a few.

“I have such a passion for this industry,” she says. “It’s incredibly close-knit and supportive. I’m looking forward to continuing to extend my existing relationships as well getting to develop those in the mitzvah, corporate and holiday markets.”

She has big plans for extending the reach and visibility of CCL in the region, too.

“The company’s grown so much in the past couple of years. CCL was my exclusive linen provider for over a decade as a wedding planner, so I have a unique understanding of it from both sides of the fence – as a customer and as an employee.”

And with a one-of-a-kind showroom at hand and a team of passionate staff to work with, she’ll have all the resources she needs to make her mark.

“There’s nothing like bringing new trends to the market and being the first to offer clients a particular product. There’s endless opportunity for creativity, and I’m truly excited about the possibilities.”
